For example:

Bumper to Bumper Vehicle Check. We actually recommend this every 30,000 miles, however, it is excellent for people who only have their car checked or worked on occasionally. For some, we recommend a once a year check up, just like the annual check up we have at the >doctor’s office. It’s the best way to know exactly what is needed. All work recommended does not have to be done that day unless the customer wants to or they live far away, like a college kid. We have customers who have moved out of state and bring their cars in once a year so that we keep their cars in good order. You can choose what you want done and when. We are happy to prioritize the list for you based on urgent need or safety issues.

Smaller Vehicle Checks.

We have smaller checks which we do to make sure the car is ready for you to hit the road to go see grandma etc, for the customer who has their cars inspected more often or as recommended by the owner’s manual.
  • Trip Checks.  We make sure the car is ready for you to hit the road.
  • Purchase checks. The best deal of it’s kind in town! We inspect the car before you buy a good used car. Before, being the key word here. Don’t get ripped off. If you decide that car is not for you based on the information we have provided you with, we will inspect another car for you within 10 business days at no charge. Many times, a customer takes the information we have found in our inspection of a good car and have been able to negotiate a discount for the repairs the car does need. Most used cars are not going to be in perfect condition, but at least you know what type of expenses you are looking at.
  • Winter checks. Make sure you’re ready to hit the road on those cold days.

Important Maintenance Checks:

We do all the routine maintenance checks according to the manual.
We check according to the book, but do the work according to the car.  This usually costs less than a dealer because we don’t (for example) replace brakes just because the manual says so.
Rotate and Balance: we check the tires each time you are in and will let you know if they need servicing.
Every time a car comes in, no matter what we are doing, we will check all fluids.
Every 100,000 miles or 7 years (whichever comes first), we recommend the Timing Belt, Water Pump, and Accessory Belts on most cars be serviced.
We recommend maintenance checks every 15K miles.
